Each Canadian cyclist participating in Courage in Motion is committed to raising a minimum of $3,600 (ages 31 and up) or $1,800 (ages 30 and younger) and non-cyclist* a minimum of $1,800. All donors will receive tax receipts.
Participation in Courage in Motion involves a commitment of raising a minimum of $3,600 per cyclist. If this is not achieved by October 30, we must be provided with credit card details prior to taking part in the ride. Any cyclist not reaching their fundraising goal by December 31, will have the difference charged to the provided credit card. Cyclists who secure a single corporate sponsor at the $4,000 level must raise an additional minimum amount of $2,000 beyond the corporate sponsorship. We strongly encourage cyclists to reach their fundraising goals before the start of Courage in Motion.
In addition to the fundraising component, each participant must pay a registration fee.
* Non-cyclists may participate in CIM if accompanying and sharing a double room with registered cyclists. Volunteer duties will be assigned where possible. (Note: Availability is limited.)
