As veterans of many Courage in Motion rides, we have found each year to be more inspiring than the last. The opportunity to cycle with the incredible, dedicated and determined members of Beit Halochem is truly humbling and inspiring at the same time. The injured veterans have gotten on with life, they are vibrant and active. Socializing and riding with them provides a window into the individuals who protect the state of Israel and our Jewish way of life. We are honoured to spend time with them and help raise important dollars for the Beit Halochem family which supports these disabled Israelis.

Courage in Motion changed my life. I saw, up close, our injured veterans, who give their lives to protect and uphold our country, Israel. I saw, up close, a beautiful country, with a history that is our collective treasure. I got to ride, side by side, with friends, old and new, who share my love, appreciation, and devotion to our country, Israel.

We have participated in numerous fund raising bike events and and Courage in Motion stands out as the most inspirational, challenging and dynamic of any we’ve done. Combine touring through Israel’s most beautiful locations on safe and spectacular roads, led by world-class Israeli cyclists, and sharing this journey with our friends and the Israeli veterans is an experience we will never forget. The ride is highly organized, providing start to finish support. It also directs an impressive percentage of donations to the Beit Halochem rehabilitation centres across Israel. Without hesitation, we recommend Courage in Motion as a cycling experience of a lifetime.

Courage in Motion is a life-altering experience. While raising money for an incredible cause, I cycle alongside those who benefit directly from this ride. I get to see Israel from a unique perspective and have made lifelong friends who share in this amazing experience.

Riding for Israel’s injured veterans began as an altruistic journey to help those who needed rehab after serving our beloved Israel, but once we did it we were hooked! It has turned into a fun filled, challenging journey with new friends who have become like a second family to us. It’s great to see friendly faces – many the same – year after year and to set goals for yourself that exceed the previous year. I can’t think of a better way to see Israel, challenge yourself and help others all at the same time. It’s a win win win!!!
