Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Israel. The State of Israel requires each visitor to have a passport that is valid for 6 months after your return date.
Rules pertaining to travelling with a bike change frequently so please check with your travel agent or airline to ensure that you have the proper information.
Start / End of Ride
Ride activities begin on Sunday October 20, when the bus will pick up riders from the Sheraton Tel Aviv at 8 a.m. to take them to the start of the ride. The ride will end on Thursday, Oct. 24. Cyclists will be bussed from the Dead Sea directly to Beit Halochem Tel Aviv for a celebratory reception. Final details to be announced closer to the ride date.
Bike Travel Cases
Bike travel cases are available through www.BikeBoxRentals.ca for $35/week. Packing and reassembly services are also available. It is suggested that you book as early as possible. Location: Avenue Road & Eglinton, Toronto. Contact: Efraim Ritter 4I6-795-5I07.
Transportation from the Airport
As soon as we have flight arrival information for all cyclists, we will circulate a list so that you can arrange shared transportation from the airport with other cyclists arriving at the same time as you.
Regular taxis are able to fit a bike box in the back seat, luggage in the trunk and one passenger in the front seat.

Bike assembly will take place on Thursday-Friday Oct. 18-19 at Beit Halochem in Tel Aviv, 49 Shmuel Bacay St., Afeka, Tel Aviv 61392. Times for bike assembly will be reserved closer to the ride date and based on riders' flight arrival times.

Single Deluxe room for one non Israeli person – 258 US$ per night including breakfast.
Double/Twin Deluxe room for two non Israeli people – 280 US$ per night including breakfast

Single standard room for one non Israeli person – 186 US$ per night including breakfast.
Double/Twin standard room for two non Israeli people – 206 US$ per night including breakfast
For guests holding (also) Israeli citizenship or people without valid tourist stamps in their passports, 16% VAT will be added.
All participants are required to have traveler's medical insurance.
Israel Cell Phone Rental
TalknSave is a supporter of Beit Halochem, and has provided CiM riders with a free phone rental or SiM card, unlimited calling within Israel, USA and Canada for just $5 per day, please sign up at www.talknsave.net/beithalochem.
All participants must carry a cell phone with them during the ride.
Electrolyte Powder and Snacks
Nutritious meals, snacks, water and electrolyte supplements will be provided during the ride. If you have a preferred electrolyte powder, please bring this with you.
Your luggage will be transported daily from each overnight location to our next destination.
If you will be in Israel before or after the ride and therefore have excess luggage and clothing that you will not require during the ride, you can securely store your excess at one of the Beit Halochem Centres. It is up to you to drop off your excess luggage at Beit Halochem prior to the ride. We will notify you of drop off times and exact locations by email closer to the ride.
Non-cyclists will be given volunteer jobs where possible.
The cost for non-cyclists to participate in this event is $950. The cost covers room and board as well as any activities included for cyclists during the ride.
There is no registration fee for non-cycling participants, but they are required to register to ensure sufficient accommodations. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org, attention Lisa, if you are interested in accompanying a cyclist.
