The upcoming 6th annual Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel CiM bike ride celebrates and recognizes the significant contribution made by the men and women who have been wounded while defending the State of Israel.

CiM 2013 will take place this October 20-24 in Israel. Cyclists will ride 50-120 kilometres per day alongside Israel’s disabled war veterans and victims of terror. Each international cyclist is required to pay a $800.00 registration fee and raise a minimum of $2,500.00. They are also responsible for their own air fare and accommodation outside of the ride dates.

Beit Halochem Canada would like to provide the funding for each Israeli disabled veteran who wants to cycle in CiM 2013. Your sponsorship will enable these riders to participate in this exciting event. With your help, we can ensure that all of the wounded who want to cycle are included.

After the painful surgeries and medical treatments are done, Beit Halochem takes over, helping the disabled veterans and victims from the time they are injured and for the rest of their lives.

The participation of the disabled heroes in sporting events, including CiM is possible due to the rehabilitation and athletic training received at our state-of-the-art Centres in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Nahariya and Beer Sheva.

At these Centres, disabled veterans, along with victims of terror and their families, receive the help they need and deserve in order to return to productive and fulfilling lives. The Centres boast an array of exceptional rehabilitative services including: physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, therapeutic devices, specialized sports equipment, coaching and cultural activities.

We long for peace, yet the battle to defend and secure Israel never ends. Unfortunately, membership at Beit Halochem keeps increasing — over 51,000 disabled veterans and victims of terror rely on our services. Funds raised from CiM will go towards the rehabilitative programs, including cycling at our Centres in Israel.
